Waterside is a community gym built around strength, conditioning, and shared momentum. We sat down with the team to hear how SpaceMusic AI became part of their space.

Why Music Matters
"Music isn't background in a gym — it's the heartbeat. The energy in the room when someone walks in either pulls them into their workout or pushes them back out." Before SpaceMusic AI, playlists drifted into the wrong mood at the wrong time. Members asked to skip songs. Over a 12-hour day, it added up.
Discovery and First Impressions
A tip from another studio owner — "I stopped building Spotify playlists entirely" — was all it took. The difference was immediate: music that felt made for the room, with no ads, no jarring transitions, no sudden tempo drops mid-set. "We noticed pretty quickly that members were training harder. The floor just felt more locked in."

Day-to-Day Use
The 5am crowd and the after-work rush need completely different energy. What used to mean multiple playlists and manual switching is now a single adjustment on the iPad. The instrumental-only output keeps coaches' cues and members' focus front and center — the music sits underneath everything, perfectly.
"One member told us the gym felt like 'a place that knew what it was doing.' That stuck with me."
Looking Ahead
"Every new location needs to feel like us. SpaceMusic AI means the atmosphere travels with us. The music is part of the work now."
